“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, (which is) your spiritual service. And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office: so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another. And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, (let us prophesy) according to the proportion of our faith; or ministry, (let us give ourselves) to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching; or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, (let him do it) with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans 12:1-8

“Ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 2:5

Webster’s Dictionary defines “connected,” as “linked together; united.”  One of the primary purposes of the Church is for believer’s to unite together “as living stones,” for the purpose of “spiritual service,” for the advancement of the Kingdom of God and His glory.  With these truths in mind, Waldo Baptist Church strives to create an environment which will allow every believer to examine their spiritual gifts and become involved in building the Kingdom of God together.   Below you will find a diverse list of ministries and opportunities that have been put in place with the soul purpose of advancing God’s kingdom and at the same time giving each member of the Body of Christ a place to connect with each other.  If you have further questions, please contact the Church office.
