Sunday School / Bible Study

Exploring The Bible Together

Waldo Baptist Church Sunday School is a great opportunity to learn more about the Bible and grow closer to the Lord. Some prefer to call it Bible Fellowship, and that is actually what it is. A person studies and learns from God’s Word in fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.

Sunday School is one of the greatest outreach sources of the Church. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest news in the world and sharing it with someone is the greatest privilege and kindness we could ever show them. Nothing else we do will ever matter as much as helping someone to establish an eternal relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The goal of our Sunday School program is to affirm the home as the center of Biblical guidance by…

  • working to nurture sound and healthy families and seeking to lead non-Christians to Christ.
  • equipping Christian parents to fulfill their responsibilities as the primary Bible teachers and disciplers of their children.
  • encourage Christian parents to integrate the Scriptures into their lives and guide their children to do the same.
  • involve families in the comprehensive work of the Church.

Our Sunday School has classes for all ages and selected study groups. We at Waldo encourage everyone to be a part of Sunday School, and grow in knowledge, service, and fellowship with the Lord.  Sunday School classes available & their locat

“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition, or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 2:1-5
